Registration for the anniversary edition opens on Tuesday 8 September 2026 at 11 a.m. Choose your distance, plan your preparation and experience Belgium’s spring marathon on Sunday 21 March 2027.

Group registration
Take on the challenge with colleagues, friends or your running club. Create a group, invite participants and manage all registrations in one place. Group registration is available until Monday 22 February 2027 at 11:59 p.m.
Group registration instructions
- For a group registration with collective pick-up, your group must have at least 10 members. Smaller groups can still register together, but each member must collect their participant pack individually.
- Group registration is only available through the official online registration module. Excel lists and similar documents will not be accepted.
- First create a group in the registration form. You will then receive an email with the group name and group code. Use this code and your chosen password to manage the group and add or remove participants. Only the group leader can validate participants. There is no limit to the number of group members.
- Participant packs can be collected as one package or individually. Clearly state your preference in the registration form. If you choose collective pick-up, only the group leader can collect all packs.
- For individual pick-up, every participant will receive a separate confirmation email with all the necessary information.
- Once the group is complete, the group leader must pay for the entire group. Registrations are only confirmed after the group has been submitted and paid. Once a group is closed, no further online changes can be made. Changes can only be requested on site at the registration desk and are subject to a €12 administration fee per change.
Key registration information
- Online registration is available until Saturday 20 March 2027 at 11:59 p.m., while race entries are available.
- No on-site registration is available.
- Anyone who registers online by Monday 22 February 2027 at 11:59 p.m. will receive a personalised bib number.
- The official event shirt is included for marathon runners.
- Half marathon runners can order the event shirt for €29.
- Participant packs will not be sent by post and can be collected on site from Friday 19 March 2027.
Run against cancer
Raise €500 and receive your race entry.
Turn your sporting challenge into support for the fight against cancer. Create your personal fundraising page, share your story with family, friends and colleagues, and raise at least €500. Once you reach your target, you will receive your entry to the Sofico Gent Marathon.
Please note that this collection campaign will not be available until Monday 28 September. Anyone wishing to take part in this way should therefore wait until Monday 28 September before registering.
T-shirt
You can order the official Sofico Gent Marathon T-shirt for €29 when registering online. The T-shirt is included in the participant pack for marathon runners.

Cancellation policy
Unable to take part because of an injury or for another reason? You can purchase a cancellation policy during registration.
- For cancellations up to and including 20 December 2026, 80% of the registration fee will be refunded.
- For cancellations up to and including 20 January 2027, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
- From 21 January 2027 onwards, no refund will be available.
Extras such as the T-shirt, medal engraving and the cancellation policy itself will not be refunded (non-exhaustive). If you have already registered without a cancellation policy, it cannot be added afterwards. Cancellation requests must be sent to info@golazo.com or submitted via the contact form on the website.
