Friday 28 & Saturday 29 March Collection Bib Number

We recommend that you collect your bib number from the Sofico Gent Marathon on Friday 28 or Saturday 29 March. Come on foot, by bike, or public transport to collect your bib number from the Topsporthal in Ghent. The car parks along the Watersportbaan will NOT be available on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 March. It is best to follow the directions below to easily reach your destination.

On foot or by bike

The Topsporthal is easily accessible on foot or by bike. Ample bicycle parking will be provided near the Topsporthal. Set this destination in your GPS and cycle to the bike sheds without any problems.

By public transport

Coming by tram, bus or train? Then Gent-Sint-Pieters is the place to be! Check out the NMBS and De Lijn route planners and plan your trip to Gent-Sint-Pieters.

The nearest bus stop is stop Gent Topsporthal Vlaanderen, 50m walk (lines 11 & 19). The nearest tram stops are Koning Albertbrug and Bernard Spaelaan both at 2 km walking distance (trams T1, T3 and T4).

Parking

The car parks on Zuiderlaan are not available on 28 & 29 March. The Central and Oost car parks at Blaarmeersen are reserved for the collection of bib numbers.

Set this car park in your GPS and be sure to pay attention to the signs as you approach the car park. These will guide you to the car park via the provided access route.

Visitors exiting the R4 are requested to drive to the Centraal car park.

Visitors coming from Europalaan are requested to drive to Oost car park.

Access for people with reduced mobility

For people with limited mobility, Sofico Gent Marathon provides a number of parking spaces near the Topsporthal. Since there are only a limited number of parking spaces available, we would like to give priority to people with reduced mobility.
