Sofico Ghent Marathon supports Sportaround

Also this year, Sofico Gent Marathon is supporting Sportaround vzw.

Sportaround originated in 2013 in Ghent. During sports afternoons, they got children from vulnerable neighborhoods moving. Meanwhile, the organization provides after-school sports at nearly 50 schools, stands on squares during the summer months with a Sportkar, offers neighborhood sports camps and developed a different still numerous low-threshold sports activities and events.

Sportaround wants to give everyone the opportunity to develop themselves through sports and exercise. Through sports you feel better in your skin, you are healthier, you grow self-confidence, discover your talents, build a group of friends, learn to deal with wins and losses, … Children can develop in a positive way.
